.. despite being inanimate.
I'm not a very good blogger, I can't help but notice. For what is not the first time I'm pledging to remedy this. But for now I'll just throw out a plethora of (borrowed) images of stuff that makes me happy. Not people or animals, just actual stuff. That way we get to look at pretty pictures AND I get to educate the world about myself!
Anyone will tell you I love tea. I don't actually think I can function without it - I tried to give it up for lent once, the main result being OUCH! HEADACHE! Such a junkie.
When I get 'big', the first thing I want to buy/build in my own abode is my bookcases. I actually love my books. Like my heart swells when I see them sometimes. I know I should most probably worry about this, but I don't! When I get round to it I'll share a photo of my actual book collection, when I rediscover the location of my camera lead!
As much as it sounds like a pastime for the middle aged, I've recently found that I really love messing in my garden. And Alys Fowler (above). It helps somewhat that when she's not doing gardening in vintage attire she bumbles around on a lovely old bicycle. With a basket. This leads to my next photo. I love my bikes. I have two: Aggie (mountain bike, rugged, weather worn, the big bossy trouser wearing sister of the two) and Florence (vintage style lady bike, slow, comfy, floaty & girly). Canny wait for slightly warmer weather when I can bundle up and trundle off on a pedalled adventure!

That'll do for now, once I started posting I realised there are far too many things that bring me incomprehensible joy, and at some point I should probably hit the hay. Artwalk tomorrow. Basically free art + free wine. And all you have to do is wander around my (slight dump of a) hometown. Bloody good deal. Especially if you like art and wine and have not a penny to your name :)
